One of the close student of HH The Great Dalai Lama is the son of former prime minister of Canada Piere Trudou. In one HH Dalai Lama’s biography, this gentleman shared a beautiful message.

“As a son of former prime minister, I met many people. Whenever I met people, the eyes of all people always ask: What can I take from the others”.

“Only when I met HH The Great Dalai Lama, I see eyes which asking inside: What can I give to the others”. As a person who personally met HH The Great Dalai Lama, I should say that it’s very true.

The spiritual lesson, there are very few of people who come to the temple, or meeting the others with the intention of helping. At least lessening the other’s burden.

And among those few souls, Balinese elders belong to this rare group. Look at the peak all prayers in Bali. It does not matter where and when the Balinese pray, it’s always ended with the word shanti (peace) three times.

Peace to the lower realms, peace to the middle realms, peace to the higher realms. It is far from selfishness. It’s the prayer of Great souls.

And the last approach of prayer has been here in Bali for thousand years. Consequently, it’s understandable that the spirit of Bali is full of peace and joy.

As one of the example, million of tourists who came to the North Bali love to watch jumping dolphins in the ocean. Dolphins are the symbol of endless joy.

Ubud which located in the middle part of Bali does not only heal million of people from all over the word, Ubud was also elected as one of the best city in the world.

The spiritual homework then, this kind of teachings are too precious to be saved in Bali only. It’s time to let the world know the spiritual teaching of Bali island.
