In primary school especially, we are all educated to choose good not bad, right not wrong, holy not dirty. In short, to remove all things considered negative.
Eventhough we grow old, saying goodbye to primary school more than 30 years ago, many people still fully occupied by the above way of thinking.
Few who deeply realize, the duality of negative-positive is not the true reality. That’s the way of human brain to understand reality.
Without darkness, brain will fail to understand the beauty of light. Without night, brain will fail to understand the beauty of the day.
But in true reality, both darkness and light are part of the same reality, both night and day are inseparable. They are not attacking each others, but enriching each others.
The same thing happen to the mind of the leaders. The most important reason why the world is full of darkness because most leaders are very busy of removing the negative.
As a result, they do not only removing the negative, but also removing the light. Especially because the light is the result of synthesizing negative-positive.
In this frame of understanding, it is deeply understandable if the Balinese elders teach the importance of nyegara-gunung.
Where the mountain is embraced by the ocean (lake), in that place the Balinese elders bult beautiful temples.
What happened in Batur is very clear, in the place where Batur mountain is embraced beautifully by Batur lake there’s Pura Jati (the true home).
It implicitly means, the true light and the true home appear not by removing the negative (yin), but by sinthesizing negative-positive (yin-yang).
That’s the most important reason why Guruji is very eager to share this message to the incoming world leaders of G20 who will meet in Bali.
To let the world leaders know, to lead not to remove the negative, but to synthesize negative-positive. That’s the leadership which will bring more light.

Hopefully, as soon as you’re back home, you don’t only bring the agreement of the meeting, but also bring the peaceful vibration of the island.
